    Question CSS Doesn't Display

    Hello all you CSS keeners,

    In attempting to add some pizazz to a client's web site, I tried adding a little CSS (turn font from boring times new roman to arial, making bold headers, etc.). While working on the site in Dreamweaver, everything looked hunky-dory, but then... I uploaded the site, and none of the CSS showed up. I've attached CSS using the same method before with no problems, so I'm not really sure what's different this time.

    Just to make sure, I first tried attaching the CSS to a template, which affected each page. Then, I tried attaching the CSS file individually, which also did not work. Finally, I tried using PVII's Style Sheet Loader Extension, which uses the import method. This also failed.

    What am I missing here?

    It appears to be very simple, the file "/mobo_stylesheet_old.css" is missing from the root folder of the website.

    The following is the error I got when looking for the file "http://www.moboenterprises.com/mobo_stylesheet_old.css":

    Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0035'

    File not found

    //global.asa, line 74

    Hey KLB,

    I looked in the root and the css files seemed to be there, but i uploaded them just to make sure. After I did this, the home page displayed the changes, but the rest of the pages still don't work... plus, the error message is still showing up.

    Does this have to do with a server problem at all, or is it just me?

    All pages appear to be displaying properly now and I actually get the CSS file now instead of the error message. You might need to refresh your browser.

    Hi KLB,

    I didn't find it changed at all with the refresh button.

    I tried rearranged the site a bit, but the css still won't show and now i'm getting a new error message (but similar):

    Code:
    Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'

    Expected end of statement

    //global.asa, line 17

    End Sub Sub Session_OnEnd
    --------^

    It looks like you reintroduced the problem. It was working fine for a few momments when I posted my last reply. Start backing out whatever you have been doing to global.asa until your site works again.

    Other than that, without out seeing the entire global.asa file I can not see what the problem is.

    --Edit--
    I'm off to bed so I won't be providing you with any more answers until morning.
