    Positioning Images and text

    Hi all,

    I'm gradually re-doing my pages using css the position everything but I've come to a small problem.

    On two of my sites I have photos and along side each I have descriptions. How can I position them so they look like they do now?

    The site I'm talking about are here:
    http://www.celyoneill.com (go the the photos page)

    http://cely.celyoneill.com
    (follow either Australia Zoo or Glasshouse Mountains links)

    Thanks

    Cely

    Float the pics to the right and the text will align next to and wrap around the pics.

    What do you mean by "float".

    My problem is very simialar yet not. I am trying to move to css and first see www.noevalley.com
    And particularly the graphic.

    www.noevalley.com/diahgts_lot_3a.php should show the graphic at the right using the code (w. include)

    <?php ?>
    <h3>Diamond Heights Lot 3</h3>
    <p><img src="http://www.noevalley.com/lot3c.jpg" width="300" height="186" align="Right" border="0" vspace="6" hspace="6" alt="Looking East from 29th Street and Diamond Street through pine trees">
    Located at the NorthEast corner of Diamond and 29th Street.This undeveloped lot reminds old time San Franciscans of what much of the city was like when they were children.
    The lot slopes from North to South and from East to West. The incline is not recommended for those with poor balance.The lot offers a view of the bay through Pine boughs and an abundance of blackberry vines. The ground is covered with unmown grass, pine nettles and pine cones.
    The sharp drop on the East side of the lot would not recommend it for free play of small children.</p>

    But no.

    Any help appreciated.

    CSS

    img.right {
    float:right;
    }

    html

    <img class="right" src="image.gif" title="image" alt= "picture of..." />

    this should do it. avoid using html tags like align, use CSS to do it.

    Thanks for that better explanation.
    Since I found out about css early this year. I simply love it and I make it external. I hate to much code in my pages.
