How do I "hide" my mailing list emails in PHP

Hello,

I am about to send out email announcing my new CD and I wanted to know if there was a way in PHP to hide the email recipients. I have a SQL db that has all the email addresses.

OR: (just thought about it!)

I could fire off 1 at a time...how can I create an array/loop to do this?

If you have your own mail server you could make an alias that holds all the email addresses, but I don't think you can do it with PHP. You could just execute the mail() command to each address in the db, that way only the recipient will have his or her email address in the to field.

I cracked open my Kevin Yank bible and threw together this:

$recip= mysql_query( "SELECT email from mailer" );
while ($recip= mysql_fetch_array($recip)) {

$email = $recip["email"];
mail(xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx);
}


echo ("Mail sent...");

?>
