OK you all complained last time about not having enough warning so you've got just over a week now
There is no chat scheduled for this weekend because I have other commitments and a lack of time, but there is one next weekend.

So I've added Open Source Software as the chat for next Saturday (13th I believe), as suggested in another thread by mkaufman.
Please make an effort to come.

Never saw the calendar before. Well, I now know I share birthdays with thasassy1 and icehousedesign (apr 3). Neat.

Is there anything specific about OSS we're going to talk about? Or is it just going to be:

<qslack> So, huh, open source is neat right?
    <JamesUS> umm...yeah...linux rulez!
<Elledan> Don't make me smack you!
    JamesUS has left #sitepoint
    qslack has left #sitepoint
    jstayton has left #sitepoint
<Elledan> Huh, did I scare them!?

Well ideally we'd discuss the merits of making and using Open Source software - why should it be used, or perhaps why shouldn't it be used.
Then we'd try and decide whether commercial software is better or not
But if anyone has any other ideas about either what to chat about this time or a future topic, please post them or contact me via email/ICQ.

I'd suggest that as many people as possible join this scheduled chat from their Linux box.

I'll certainly do so! At least, if I get my Linux box back before that time

I have never been able to get my isdn adapter to work in linux :
    * looks around for sympathy..
oh well, that not big a loss, I could use win32 *****X (just have to love the colour scheme) to replicate the experience
Or then, I could just use mirc.
I would urge everyone to pop along, although it may not be a terribly interesting topic to everyone.
