I hope all is well in the world of php today...!!!
I'm designing a php driven WAP site and therefore do not have access to cookies, and would like to know if a user is logged in or not(I suppose this also applies to HTML as well - i.e. for those 30% of users who have cookies disabled).
The goal is to prevent users from logging in twice.
A database approach I don't think will work - bcs if user gets cut-off how can the database be updated.
One solution I thought of, is to run a cron job, say every 15 minutes to check if user is logged on or off.
However, does php provide an easier solution, in order to solve this problem?
I'd be most grateful if you could shed some light on this one please!!!
Thanx very much,
