    Hyperlinked images and border colour IE !== Firebird/NS

    I am using the following CSS for my links:

    Code:
    a:link, a:hover, a:visited, a:active {
    	color: #fff;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	font-weight: bold;
    }
    When I am using an image as a link in Firebird, and I do not specify a border value, it gives it a border to signify a link. This is what I want, and in Firebird it takes on the color attribute and the border is white which is also what I want.

    However in IE, it gives it the default colour of blue/purple.

    For example:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Dan

    border: 1px solid #fff;

    Thanks.

    Why does Firebird interpret it as a border colour as well?

    Thanks
