IE 6 SP1 doesn't load CSS in iframe

Very weird bug that I have never encountered before.
IE 6 SP1 with all critical patches installed under Win XP has problems displaying an inline stylesheet in an iframe. Strangely, though, the very same page is displayed correctly when viewed individually, i.e. outside the iframe.
What is even weirder is that IE "strips" out some PHP generated stylesheet in the HTML.

Here is how table cells should look like (correct CSS):

    Code:
    <td class="noRevenuelight">25 Aug 2003 00:00:00</td><td class="noRevenue">31 Oct 2003 23:59:00</td>
     <td class="noRevenuelight">KiB 25p Per Minute</td>
And here is how IE displays table cells(incorrect CSS) in the iframe:

    Code:
    <td class="">31 Oct 2003 23:59:00</td>
    <td class="light">KiB 25p Per Minute</td>
The very odd thing is that other IE6 SP1 with various patches installed under Win XP on other computers show the pages absolutely correctly, in the iframe or not.

It's not a caching issue (I forced reload, emptied cache etc.) and, strangely, the inline CSS is loaded correctly and applied to the first two rows of the table, but any CSS for cells after that is blank or as set in the HTML -Template before PHP generates the table.

Everything works correctly in pretty much every other browser.

My hypothesis is that IE 6 needs some patch that eliminates that bug, but I am somewhat stumped by this bug.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows a solution?

    Much appreciated

The problem is sorted. The project manager who experienced that odd behaviour on his IE 6 used an old instance of the oracle database...

Bit too obvious in hindsight, but at least now it's solved.
