Dynamically changing page styles: Mozilla-IE discrepancy

    Here's a fun problem.

In IE 6, when I dynamically change the stylesheet being imported into the page (via <link>), the page is dynamically redrawn based on the new stylesheet.

But I can't figure out a way to do this with Mozilla / Netscape. Changing the href value of the <link> element works fine, but the page isn't dynamically updated.

Any suggestions to get around this? I'm pretty stumped.

    *bump*

Still stumped! Perhaps someone knows of site where you can dynamically change the page styles at the click of a mouse? I know I've been to a few, but I can't track them down at the moment.

To re-iterate my problem, I'm dynamically updating the href attribute of a style link tag via javascript. This dynamically updates the page style in IE, but unfortunately doesn't in Mozilla. Kind of a stinker. I'm wondering if there *is* a way to do it that's compatible with Mozilla (surely!) and how I would proceed.

    Thanks guys! :-)

Zeldman has a cross-browser style switcher...
