scrollbars disappear window.open

Hello folks...

Can anyone tell me more about the following secret...

If I open a new window using window.open()
without the third parameter there are scrollbars and if I open it with any third paramater (ex: "locaionbar=no") the scrollbars dissapear ...

What is wrong with it, or better : how do I get back my scrollbars ??
