Darn you! No, that's awesome. Anyway, here's what I got...

    - $700 towards paying for this new Dell computer I have. 1GHz, 40GB HD, CD-RW, 12x DVD, 32MB TnT2 Gfx Card, Surround Sound Speakers, etc.

    - Leather jacket.

    - Winter/Ski jacket.

    - Nike Ignite hockey skates.

    - Quake III Arena for PC

    - Cars calendar.

    - U2 All That You Can't Leave Behind CD.

    - Live Creed CD (import).

    - Some school supplies like pencils, pens, etc.

    - Inscribed Bible with my name.

Now mind you that all of those weren't found under the same tree I still have to go places today, so I'll update this list later.

I'm having what is equivalent to my third Christmas today - they're all a bit smaller though, so it evens out pretty well:

    - Shopping spree (probably about $100...one of the households does that every year, fine by me)
    - Titan A.E. DVD
    - Terminator 2 DVD
    - X-Men Movie DVD
    - One of those cool snake lamps.
    - Gift Certificate to Best Buy
    - Couple pair of Cargo-style Khakis (one is actually dark blue...)
    - Two nice longsleeve shirts (I never thought I'd see the day where I was happy to get clotching).

That's basically it - I'm expecting another outfit or two and a book at some point most likely.

Nope James: no DVD player yet. I've had "The Matrix" for like 4-5 months on DVD too...LOL. All 4 DVDs (those 3 and The Matrix) are all from the same Grandma - just told her that's what I would like. I'll buy a DVD player sometime in 2001 probably.

I know I will someday, so these are nice to have. The problem is buying a nice big TV along with it to WATCH them on. So basically I'll have to wait until I'm ready to plunk down $500 all at once.

I'm assuming that many people received PS2s for Christmas. I created a mini-PS2 site as a runoff of my larger gaming site, and traffic literally doubled today.

I can assume some of it is from it being the holidays, but almost 3000 people for a site that has yet to be heavily promoted is something else.

Gotta love Christmas AND Sony. =]

But I got *myself* a Canon PowerShot S100 Digital Elph. Luckily, I know what I want, so it's easy to shop for myself Merrrrry Christmas to me.

Yeah... your right. My parents got nothing... I mean NOTHING. When they want something, they'll get it. They don't have to wait for Christmas, like me and other kids.

Well I didn't get much.... I am getting a ski trip, so that is my gift

As for under the tree, I got a couple of nice Structure sweaters, Delta Force:Land Warrior (awesome game BTW ), and a gag gift of playing cards.

But, today I went shopping and I was allowed to buy just about anything! Got a new Michigan hat and a Purdue one, some more sweaters, some new shoes, and a nice Structure jacket.

PlayStation 2 is a horrible system, sorry guys. I have a PS2 and a Dreamcast and an N64-- I'd rather play my N64 than the muckpy PS2 games. Ever compared FL 2K1 to Madden 2001 for PS2? 2K1 comes out on top by a mile.

Look at Gameday 2001 for PS2, that has to be the worst football game ever made. I'd rather play Tecmo Super Bowl (one of th ebets games ever made) for the Super Nintendo then try that stuff.

DC's modem, 4 controller slots, VMU, and Windows CE compatibility beat out anything the PS2 has to offer. The only thing good about the PS2 is the backwards compatibility. I find myself just playing my friend's PS1 games... I should have kept my $500 and bought a PS One.

Well of course! You have to get yourself something for Christmas; it's almost a gimme. I got myself a nice bathrobe

By the way, I also got some game that was made back in '96 for the computer. The whole point of the game was to find all the clues and win $1,000,000 (for real). Well the contest expired a year ago! Not much point in playing it now. I guess that's what you get from Aunts who haven't seen you in a few years
