I've been using an on-line site ( see: http://www.moock.org/webdesign/javas...-side-include/) to convert html to js so that I can include it in a document.

It neatly wraps everything in a document.write(), handles large blocks with proper continuation lines and escapes quotes.

It does a very nice job. However, I don't like being dependent on a remote site on a long term basis. What happens if the site goes away or even if it's down at some point when I need it badly?

So, is there a tool I can run on my own system (preferably Windows but Linux would be ok) that would do the job?

Thanks, Ed
