    background Image with IE5 on mac

    Hey,

    I have this little bit of code in my CSS:

    .bgImage {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    background-image: url(images/bgs/home_bg_image.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    and then im using it liek this ofr a background image in a table cell:

    <td width="684" class="bgImage";>

    everything works fine in every browser EXCEPT IE 5 for Mac. First of all, I'm not 100% im using the code right, and second of all, if I am, is there a workaround to get this to work?

    Thanks,

    Rich

    HTML Code:
    <td width="684" class="bgImage">
    Remove the semicolon from your tag, like I did above. Also, if your url() is in single quotes, change it to double quotes. IE5/Mac does not like single-quoted urls to bring in images or other files. Also, do you have a page online that shows this behavior? I'll be able to check it on a Mac for you and send you a screenshot.

    well, i got it working by taking the whole table and inserting it into another table. A hack, i know, but it's just small site anyway.
