    Question IE problems on PC

    Can anyone tell me why this page is not displaying the header and first paragraph before the images and bios in IE 6?

    Try adding the style 'line-height: 120%;' to the .content class. You can play with the percentage to see if it make any difference?

    I've just started to learn CSS beyond the basics so I might give you a totally wrong suggestion here Others will probably correct me though.

    Hi,

    I think it's the old IE postion:relative bug.

    Try adding position:relative to your content id and the text should display ok.
    Code:
    #content {
    position:relative;}
    Sometimes child elements don't display correctly when the parent has postion relative set. The solution is to add position relative to the child element.

    Paul

    Edit:

    Sorry you will also need to add this as well:
    #content img {position:relative}

    Paul, thanks again for the help. That worked great.

    Helge, thanks for offering some help, but I have some line-heights specified and I am not sure what effect that would have on other elements that reside in the content div.
