    musicplayer

I would like to have a "music jukebox" on my page. Just for background music.
But sometimes I notice when I visit sites that music slows down the speed.

What is the best to do when I want something like that?

    Thanks

Don't. This is what people have WinAmp for, and they are perfectly capable of listening to their own CD's or MP3's without a website trying to give them the experience of a music player.

ucahg makes a good point, however, if you're still interested then go with a flash mp3 player and make sure that the first song doesn't autoplay - so the user must actually press play b4 the song starts, that way you're not slowing the DL of the rest of the page.
