link target "_self" in an html email-possible?

I want to create an html email message and have a link that pulls a second page into the email. Is this possible?

I tried using a link target of _self in the html but Outlook always seemed to open the page in the default browser anyway.

I tried using frames to bring in a second page but I don't think Outlook supports frames (at least, I couldn't get it to work).

Any suggestions?
