    Open Browser behavior no pointer change

    9506.1 I have done open browser behaviors on text and images where a "mini" window opens. My problem is that you don't get a change in your mouse which indicates to the viewer that it is a link that will take them somewhere. I usually set it to on click. Is there something I can do to force the user's curser to change to the hand?

    Thanks,
    Tammie

    not sure how you've scripted it, but if you do it like this then the cursor will change to a hand when you mouseover the anchor text. I just cut and pasted this from one of my sites:

    Put this in the head:
    Code:

    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/JavaScript">
    <!--
    function MMopenBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
    window.open(theURL,winName,features);
    }
    //-->
    </script>
    And this wherever the link is:
    Code:
     <a href=""# onclick="MM_openBrWindow('test.htm','test','scrollbars=no,width=400,height=170')">CLICK HERE!!</a>
    Perhaps you were missing the anchor so the browser wasnt recognising that its a link and then didnt change the cursor state.

    Your correct. That was the problem. I use DW and insert the open brower using behaviors. The link worked fine but no mouseover.
    Thanks!
