    make a page say "please wait...", then show a close window link?

    Hey, I have a form in a little popup window that submits a file for upload to a php script. Since it takes a minute or two to actually upload the file, how can I make the window chagne to say "please wait..", and then when i recieve the confirmation from php that everythign went smooth, show a "close window" link?

    I would preload the file.
    Get the fastchache.class from:
    http://www.freeware.de/software/Prog...ache_2720.html

    Put this code into your page.
    Code:
    <applet code="fastcache.class" width="0" height="0">

    <param name="item0" value="http://myadress/~gartebau/gartenbau/pics/beitrag.jpg">

    <param name="item1" value="http://myadress/~gartebau/gartenbau/pics/beitrag2.swf">
    ......
    </applet>
    Use absolute links
    You can preload every file; even flash.
