    Help with Midi script

    I would like to offer midis on particular pages at my Christmas web site, but I want to have a Start Stop option that will be cross browser compatible.
    I have found site that has something similar to what I'm looking for here:
    I just want to have one midi on the page though, so I do not need the Next, Previous, or Song List options. I also do not need the div tags since I don't want the Start Stop buttons in a fixed position. I'm not sure how to adjust the code to suit my needs. I've been looking around at free script sites and have found nothing so far.
    Any help will be appreciated!

    I haven't found a way to play sound cross-browser.
    You could use flash. That will help.

    Then put the flash-movie into a div-container.
    PHP Code:
    <style>
    .
    panel {position:absolute;  top20left50width:500height:400; ;}
    </
    style>

    <
    div id="panel" class="panel">
    Your movieSomething like this:

    <
    OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"

    codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0"

    WIDTH=550 HEIGHT=530>
     <
    PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="F1.swf"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF>  <EMBED src="F1.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF  WIDTH=550 HEIGHT=530 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></EMBED>
    </OBJECT>

    </
    div

    Thanks Jana,
    I actually found a script that is working in IE after searching for two days. I have it up here:
    http://www.allthingschristmas.com/epages/sample2.html

    I'm not sure what other browsers it works in. Now I need to figure out how to adjust the form so visitors can click a text or graphic link instead of the buttons to Play or Stop the music.

    If you get a chance, you could you let me know what browser you're using and if the script is working for you?

    Thanks again,
    Deborah
