How to open a window with specific size without java

    Hi all!

Would someone please tell me how to specify a window size from a hyperlink without using javascript in the <head> tag? I want to place a simple hyperlink on a page (not my page) and have that hyperlink go to a new window that's only about 180X200 or so. Can I do this by adding attributes to the target_blank tag (I don't think so)?

    Thanks a lot!
    Shawn

Sorry, you'll need javascript to set those types of properties. target="_blank" will get you a new window that is the same size as the original, with all the toolbars, etc.

So there's absolutely 100% no way to do this? What about having a javascript that's not in the <head> tag? What would that link read?

    Thanks Vinnie.

You can do Javascript without it being in the head of the document. Something like this maybe?
    HTML Code:
    <a href="/index.html" title="home" onclick="window.open(this.href, 'newWin', 'width=180, height=200'); return false;">Home (opens in a new small window)</a>
