    I never take tests like that, or worry about the results that anyone else gets when they take them.

    There's a lot of stuff that I learned in school that I don't remember any more -- the bones of the body; how to balance an equation; how to do 100 different statistical analyses; the atomic numbers of all of the elements; and much, much more.

    The important thing is that I remember the most important things that still affect my life today.

    Anyone who expects to remember everything they ever learned in school.... didn't learn much in school.

    Trying to remember Pythagoras + Angles in Parrallel lines and the rest of it was bad enough, trying to run through it all in my head was hell

    7/10.
    However, I am still busy getting out of 8th. A few of those things I probably haven't learned well enough yet.

    Given that it's only october, you must be doing pretty well.

    This evaluates to a^2 - 1.
    a = -1, 1

    The square roots of the a's would be -i, i, -1, and 1.

    Sorry, I mistyped it. The correct expression is:
    Code:
    ((a^2 - a) / a - #a#)) - #a#
    And you needn't find the value of a, you just need to make it look easier.

    9/10 - no excuses, shoulda got 10! I am old and decrepit!

    Anybody know if there is an ASCII code for the square root symbol? I just realized that I've never seen it on a keyboard, or needed to put it into a text document. Is it "Alt251"? Or is that just a checkmark?

    70% is a passing grade. Print out the quiz, show it to your math teacher as proof that you know 8th grade math, and never go to class again *

    10/10. I wish I could do this type of math all day, instead of the stuff I do now.
