Am I missing something here is it: [(a^2-a)/(a-sqrt(a))]-sqrt(a)

b/c if not i think you would just pull out an a from the numerator and cancel it with the denominator and end up with a - 2sqrt(a) -1

If you try it the way i have up top (where (a- sqrt(a)) is all in the denominator, and not just a like you have it now) Then everything would cancel out and leave you with a which in my opinion is a much nicer number.

In this case, you would solve for x in the equation:

4/6 = 7/x

4x = 42 (cross multiply)
x = 10.5

6. damnit, thats right. I knew there was something about solving for x, but I couldn't think in my head of the proper way to go about it. I am now smarter
