    Absolute positioning with relative width

    I have three main columns on a site:

    Code:
    <div style="position: absolute; left: 5px; top: 5px; width: 150px; height: 600px">
    </div>

    <div style="position: absolute; left: 160px; top: 5px; width: 600px; height: 600px">
    </div>

    <div style="position: absolute; left: 775px; top: 5px; width: 150px; height: 600px">
    </div>
    I'd like to set it up so that the middle column will automatically expand (due to fastclick's larger 728 bannners mixed in with regular banners) and have the right column's left property adjust accordingly. I've played around with "postition: relative;" but then the div's appeared one after the other vertically. There's a "min-width" property, but that doesn't appear to be supported by IE.

    Change them back to relative positioning and add float:left to each layer.
