    Question WC3 Validation

    Does anyone know, why :

When I use WC3 online validation, it asks for either a URL or to upload a file.

When using the URL method, I get ok validation.

    Yet

If I save the same file to harddrive then upload for validation, I then get lots of errors ??

    PLz any clues??

    You validate to WarCraft 3?

Anyway, we'd have to see some source code before being able to figure out why the validator works online but not via upload. Can we see the code to your page, or a URL where the page is residing?

If it validates fine by URL, I wouldn't worry as this is the view that your visitors are going to be served.

It's probably because the server adds extra code like adverts, or you aren't saving the file as plain ASCII.

Well, his page validates fine online; it's when validating via file upload that he gets errors.

I wonder if the upload contains server side script. Weird2u2, is it an ASP, CFM, JSP or PHP page that you are uploading?

Referring to my previous post, it depends upon which order you save, move and validate the files.

What I meant was some Web browsers tend to default save the page as a 'web page', for example M$ Explorer rather than as an unadulterated file.
