    cookies

    I have this script from a book where i am learning php :]
    PHP Code:
    <?
    $cookie_name
    ="test_cookie";
    $cookie_value="test string!";
    $cookie_expire=time()+86400;
    $cookie_domain="127.0.0.1";
    setcookie($cookie_name,$cookie_value,$cookie_expire,"/",$cookie_domain,0);

    ?>
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Cookie de prueba</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <h1>MMMMMMMM....cookie!</h1>
    </body>
    </html>
    The book says I have to see a dialog box prompting me to accept the cookie, but my browser (ie 5.5) displays MMMMMMMM....cookie! directly...i do not see any dialog box...why?is it important or not?
    Regards from Spain.

    It just depends on your browsers security settings. In this case, your browser is just set to accept the cookie and not use a prompt to ask if it's alright.
