    Anyone know why I can't get a simple SSI call to work on my server?

    This is the test URL I'm trying to pull to:

    http://www.chillisauce.co.uk/ssi_to.shtml

    I contains the call:
    <!-- #include virtual="ssi_from.htm" -->

    Which should pull this:
    http://www.chillisauce.co.uk/ssi_from.htm

    I can't see anything wrong (although my first test). I've also contacted my host (hostrocket.com) who have assured me that SSI is working on all their servers.

    So I'm at a total loss to whats wrong.

    Any ideas??

    I followed your link and viewed the source. All I got was the server include tag. it seems that the server is not processing it. Perhaps it is configured to 'shtm'?

    Are you sure that your server supports SSI or if it does that your web host has enabled it, not all hosts allow SSI, especially if they are overloading servers because it adds yet more load to it.
