    best dhtml menu

    Hello!
    Can you recommend your best dhtml menu?
    I am quite new to webpage design and would like to start with the best one.

    I am also interested in the answer here... To add to the question... what (if any) web based menu administration have you found? Free would also be a great thing too.

    I am using a number of older menus and in each I have to manually edit the .js files. I am looking for another "free" one that also includes an administration module to interface with SQL. Yes, I know how to search, I am interested in the experience of others on this forum.

    There are a some at dhtmlcentral.com, they are all free. There is always dynamic drive, some are free and some are not.
    Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

    Hey ppl;

    I have come across some great DHTML menu's, but the site I'm working on include's frames, and the menu's will not overlap the frame.

    Any idea's?!?

    Those types of Javascript DHTML menus
    won'tgo over another frame. The only way I know is to use a form drop down....like I did here on the "quick menu" www.reageradlerpc.com

    You could create a customized form based menu for each drop down that goes to the URL when slected (no "Go" button). You could do quite a bit of form customizing with CSS.

    Of course this wouldonly work if you are using top horizontal navigation.
