I have seen a few examples of applications that use a main server to run PHP and the database. Then many users could actually run the application which usually consisted of adding a user to a DB and keeping their info up and running.
One main example was a VoiceStream booth at the local mall. They had it setup to take the entries add them to a DB and actually activate your phone using ASP.
I was just wondering what everyone thought of browser based applications? I was thinking that if you write an application and distribute it (targeting specific OS's) you could have some good business.
What does everyone think?
