Looking for suggestions, comments on color scheme
I'm just working on a website redesign and looking for some ideas or brainstorms. Contribute if you'd like. Its a computer hardware reseller, and they insist on having their logo featured (I don't blame them), but should I try to follow the logo color scheme on the website colors? The colors are a dark blue (#0D2B88) and deep gold (#776D09), I've checked out the web tools like
to work the complements, but stuff just doesn't look good. I want to feature the blue look, but I don't want to look exactly like IBM or HP. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions to make, feel free. Just trying to get the creative juices churning. Thanks in advance...

There is no link to the website, but if you want to get a site reviewed - it should go on in the Web Site reviews forum.
I would try to follow the logo's colour scheme as well as the logo style - if it is hard and technical - make your design reflect this. If it is soft and curvy - make your design so.
Also, dont be afraid to tell the company that there logo could do with modifying - change of colour etc.. if its not up to scratch - they will appreciate constructive critism.
