    Tools for checking accessibility

    Hi there,

I'm looking to purchase a tool to check a website for accessibility. So far I've had a quick look at Bobby and LIFT for Dreamweaver. Does anyone have any experience of these of know of any others?

I'm more partial to Cynthia Says. I don't really like Bobby.

Have you tried A-Prompt from the University of Toronto? Free. Although I've been meaning to do some omaritive tests I haven't done so yet. And I also agree with Vinnie - I prefer cynthia - gives better laid out reports for a start.

I tried A-Prompt! It is a good tool!
But if you have money, I would recommend CythiaSays too!

Thanks for the replies. Actually I am looking to purchase rather than use the online validators because as good as they are, will only check one page at a time. Some of the websites I am working on are quite large!

Just make sure you don't rely on the results from those automatons alone because they have a limited capability.
