    Trying to manipulate current window, not having luck.

    Hello Everyone,

    I'm having a slight Javascript mental block here, and I've tried searching to no avail as well as pouring through my Javascript book with no luck.

    I have a window that I want to remove the menubar from using a function that runs onload. I'm not opening the window using Javascript and really don't want to.

    Anyway I thought the script would be something simple like:

    Code:
      <script language='javascript'>

    	function WindowChange() {

    	self.document("menubar=no");

    	};
    </script>
    Or perhaps window.document? My friend even suggested self.menubar.visible=no;

    Gah! I'm lost in the syntax black hole!

    Thanks.

    You're having trouble remembering the syntax for this because you can't do it at all. The browser and DOM simply don't provide for it.

    I had a creeping worry that was the case, but was hoping I was wrong.

    Thanks.
