    Hey all you Firebrird fanatics!

Is there a way to import your cookies from IE to Firebird?

    What OS?

Firebird stores all its cookies in one file (depending on the OS, but in XP / 2000, in Application Data/Phoenix/Profiles/default/[a-zA-Z0-9].slt/cookies.txt)

IE, however, stores each cookie as a separate file -- I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to convert between the two -- do you know any programming languages?

    Yes there is!

Install Mozilla first. Mozilla will automatically import all of your IE favorites. Then install Firebird. Firebird will import all of Mozilla's favorites.

Ok, using Hackman, I'm examining FireBird cookie files VS. IE cookie files.

First off, I notice that IE seems to store all cookies from one domain in a single file, delimited by the "*" character. Each section of the cookie is delimited by a line-feed

Firebird stores all cookies in a single file, delimiting each cookie by a line-feed, and each subset by a Horizontal Tab ("\011").

This makes for easy parsing -- I'll post back a (hopefully) working coverter in a bit
