    IE & document viewer & javascript popup window

    We have a php document viewer file, which just checks the access level of a client and outputs a document if they have access to it. it just reads this document from file & outputs it directly, with the headers:

    header("Content-Type: $ct");
    header("Content-Disposition: filename=$filename");
    header("Content-Length: $cl");

    this works fine when I use the target='_blank' attribute in the <a> tag, but if I use a javascript popup:

    onclick=\"Popup=window.open('docviewer.php?ID=$id&type=paid','Popup','toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes'); return false;\"

    IE errors and can't download the file, it comes up with the attached dialog box (image attached)
