Lightbulb HTML Template ( Dreamweaver - Front page)

    Hi to all,
Thanks for your interest first of all. Ok, i'll go straight to what i am looking for. I work with fireworks/dreamweaver ( export... ) and i have a client which wants an html template for FRONTPAGE, and not for dreamweaver. But the fact is that i work with dreamweaver...
Anyone can help me please, it's very urgent. I need to know if it possible to save/work with a template on dreamweaver and frontpage at the same time, or is it different, if there will be problems...
Please, i need help. Maybe I could send you the HTML template (Dreamweaver) and you could convert it to front page, or i can do it myself, but how?
Reply me to ladtt_etunjoli_q@hotmail.com if it's better for you,
    Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure what the problem is, HTML is HTML they are both HTML editors. Unless your template is complex it should work just fine in FrontPage.

AFAIK, FrontPage uses some sort of special tags which allows it to update live HTML files on your server.

Not sure how it works though.

A LOT easier to go Dreamweaver to FrontPage than FrontPage to Dreamweaver due to the propriatary tags FrontPage likes to use.

..and a Dreamweaver Template is a *.dwt extension, which only runs in DW (afaik) with a special html comment system to organize it all.

I think unless you got a copy of Frontpage, you're out of luck.

If you can't open the template in DW you should be able to open a page designed with it save it as a DW template. Just remember when you apply it to new pages that you have the box checked to update the page whenever the template is updated.

Upload it, and ask someone with both Frontpage and Dreamweaver to convert it for you.
