Beginning PHP

Hello everybody!
I'm trying to learn how to have a database driven site using PHP. I've read the PHP tutorial on SitePoint, and it was very confusing. I need a tutorial that starts at the very beginning. Does anybody know about any like this?

Like I previously mentioned in a post similar to this one, I've created a very basic beginning PHP series, that I am sure you will find useful.

If webkat is correct in what he said in the other php tutorial post, then this wouldn't be counted as spam since I wrote a tutorial that he is wanting to know about. But, in any case, feel free to delete it if you must.

Oh yeah, I forgot.

I guess it is a bad habbit of mine to refer to people on the internet who I've never seen before, as being male. I know that is a bad "generalization" but it is kind of hard to tell what gender someone is on the internet.
