Eclipse Library (D.A.W.N)

Just reading through the forums (again) when i was reminded of the following post.

"FYI, Voostind has made one. Its called D.A.W.N. and it's based on MVC using Eclipse of course. I don't believe it uses a template, but rather has a Widget Base Class to build from."

Would anyone know where i can take a peek at this 'framework' presuming it's still in existance? Google hasn't heard of it and http://www.sunlight.tmfweb.nl/dawn/ (where i thought it might have been) is empty.

I don't think he ever released it to the public. It was his final University project I believe.

Ah, that's a shame. It would have been interesting to see the implementation. Maybe Vincent will consider making it publically available

Vincent start a program based on eclipse on sourceforge.net and I can see 2 developers there.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/eclipselib/ I just download a copy and find a roadmap in it (see attachment). Maybe some good news.

Yeah, I would love to learn from the Dawn framework. I emailed Vincent a while back. I think I remember him saying he was kind of ashamed because it wasn't completed so he didn't want to give it up only partly done.

It looks like Jason Lolito , the guy who's taken over developing the next Eclipse, EclipseCE, has also been working on a framework, called Cereal.

You can check out the CVS at Sourceforge, though there isn't much there as of yet. http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/eclipselib/

Maybe he could use some encouraging.
