    Help ):.

Does anyone here know how to create more usernames and passwords for mysql accounts?. I've got a dedicated server and want to setup a few accounts for various things like one for the forum i want to install and one for a picture gallery.

If you could help it would save what hair i have left.

Well log into mysql as root and add a record to the user table for the username you want and then add a corresponding record to the db table for the db that the user will have access to.

    Eddie,

    Direct from the horse's mouth...

    http://www.mysql.com/documentation/m...n=Adding_users

Tip for other MySQL users : do a search in that documentation and you should find what you're looking for.
My 2 Cents (or is that 2.2 Cents including GST?)

I guess I could have included a link to the documentation for the advice I gave, so Thanks!
