    Hi,

    I just installed apache/php/mysql on my windows 98 system.

    In some of my php scripts, it goes and deletes some files when necessary. It works great on my Unix server, but when I tried it on my localhost, it says permission denied.

    I know on Unix systems, you just chmod the directories/files to 0777, but how do I do this on localhost on a windows system? I use apache.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Does it actually delete the files? Sometimes it will display an error message even though the file gets deleted. If this is the case you can supress the error messages by putting a @ before the unlink() function

    @unlink($filename);

    Woah, your right.

    It did delete everything it was supposed to delete.

    Thanks!
