It depends which service you are using? Dial-up(Hourly/Unlimited) or dedicated connection (DSL/Cable...)?

And there should be a lot of choices for you to choose from.

There are a lot of sites that claim to do that but I don't know how well they work - here are a couple for you:
http://www.MoveAbout.com (used to be called ClickDough)
    http://www.AllAdvantage.com
Those are the best two IMO.

Which country do you live in? US? That will greatly change options about internet connectiosn etc.

You'll need to check out the site of any programs you're interested in for country availability - hopefully one of them will be available to you

    alansoo,
i dont know you but i can recommend you to read these forums and improve yourself in one of the areas that these guys/girls making money. Not earn money because you surf because it is temporary as alladvantage case showed. Earn money because you produce something, this is my IMHO.

You could download software such as NetTimer or Internet Timer which allow you to monitor the amount of time spent online, and set limits to the amount of money you would like to spend for the month.

If you set alerts, it will let you know when you have reached your budget limit for the month and so on.

I used to have a pretty old listing of these stuff (Get paid to surf) at http://www.guideClick.com
Might worth checking out, but remember they're pretty old and I don't have intention to update it. But it could give you plenty of them to dig into.

Just a word of warning. You can try those pay-to-surf programs, but don't expect a regular check from them, even if they owe you it. AllAdvantage, mValue, and several others owed my money, but never payed, sending me the lamest explainations. There was a time when these things actually were legit, not anymore.

    Isn't unlimited Internet available there?

I actually tried AllAdvantage and got around $60-$80 from it. However, I really regret it, after all I had that stupid viewbar thing.

True, I just can't bear those programs. But got 2 checks from AllAdvantage and GetPaid4.

Well, maybe he/she has to pay per minute, I know this situation is many Asian countries, dedicated connections are very expensive!

I really think that pay-to-surf programs will last much longer. They are losing profits. Ive seen several go bankrupt within their first year. The fact is nobody who is in the programs pay attention to the banners.

Probably the same situation with free internet access
But it was a neat idea though! From that, we now see a bunch of similar services!

You're right, Son, and you know what the common reason of all these companies and programs going down is? No advertisers, and low-paying ones at that. It's affecting many, many things.

Well I have been using AlAdvantage and it doesn't seem too bad. I've recieved a check for $47 a few months ago and Im expecting another check very soon.

The viewbar isn't too bad, it doesn't seem to affect download speeds that much. Also it doesn't hog system resources or anything like that. And after a while, you just dont notice the lost screen space or the ads at all

But There was a period where the viewbar kept on stuffing up my computer and the viewbar was a pain to use.
