Acces 2000 - datatype restriction (text)

Hi,

we are making a DB and need a datatype to hold product descriptions, we were thinking of using the datatype "text" but this seems to be capped at 256 chars.

How can we hold product descriptions in the DB wich are longer then 256 chars ?

Use memo data type instead.

Thanks, we tried that before posting here but we changed the datatype of the wrong table ... everythings working fine now.
