How to make an 'upload' dir?

I have a public FTP-server. And I want to make a folder called 'upload' so anyone could upload their files into it.

    How could I do that?

you would have to give the anonymous user read/write access to the "upload" folder

i think you will have to add permission to the actual "anonymous" account (add upload to the list with read/write permission, not the directory's chmod). what ftp daemon are you using?

The problem is, that I have no shell access. I only have FTP access.

Seems like I need to ask support to do that...
