How do you make arcs in photoshop?
I mean not using the way of drawingand eclipse tne changing to white and draw another eclipse over. There must be another, more professional way???

Pete...depending on the result you want, the best way to do this would be to create a circle/oval at the appropriate size, then stroke the selection. (EDIT > STROKE)
That will create an arc just dandy for you.

U can't select stroke





ok...let's start over.
1) Create a new document (just in case)
2) Make sure your layer is totally empty and that is is editable.
3) create your circle / oval with the marquee tool.
4) Select EDIT > STROKE
Let me know if that works. It is a good chance that you might have had a locked layer or were trying to stroke a "background" layer.
