    Netscape equivalent for document.execCommand

    Hi,

I am developing a WYSIWYG Editor. I need to provide the user to be able to select the text and do formatting like bold, italic, underline, alignment, indentation etc.

I used document.execCommand with command identifiers which works well for IE 6. But for Netscape 7 document.execCommand gives error.

    Please help..

Netscape doesn't have the ability to provide a WYSIWYG interface, unless you go to version 7.1+.

If you look on the Mozilla site for the 'Midas Demo' you can see how to create the editor for Netscape 7.1+.
