    problems running functions outside of class

    I have several generic functions I use, one being a date converter to go between the human readable 10/10/2003 to the mysql format of 2003-10-10. When calling this function from within a function in a class I cannot seem to get it to work. It does not come up with a "could not find function" error...it just never runs the function.

    PHP Code:
    $this->BDate        date_Norm_Mysql($BDate);
    I have echo out the values for both $this->BDate and $BDate fine.

    I have also put in an echo statement as the first line of the date_Norm_Mysql() function. It never runs.

    Am I missing something for calling these generic functions from within a class? I know I have done this before with generic mysql error functions and such. I just don't get it.

    Any ideas? Thanks.
