    mysql service wont start

i'm using mysql on windows with winmyadmin 1.4

I installed everything fine a week ago and used it without error for awhile. I was playing around and disabled the service for a few days. I went back to set it back to automatic and restart it. however when I click to start, it proccesses, but then goes back to being stoped. I click start, green light goes on for a few seconds and then back to red. any ideas why it doesn't work anymore?

Have a look in the mysql folder in explorer. AFAIK there's a folder dedicated to each db. If it's not hooked up to a live server then its cool to just copy that directory out, re-install and then copy it back in. I think.
