Script to add a website to favourites

The bookmark script you've used (window.external) is only supported by IE/Windows. There is no point in offering a feature that won't work for some visitors.

indeed you should not use them since they only work in Internet Explorer and not in Mozilla or Opera for example

If someone has figured out they have a favorites/bookmark facility, chances are they already know how to add a site to it. Why waste precious web-site real-estate on such a pointless “feature”?
