IE doesn't see @import???

hey all

this is pretty tragic

EI 6 can't seem to read my whole @import stylesheet.

it doesn't ignore the "whole" thing - which is also wierd but it everything but my body and #div definitions...

please help

Can we see the actuall .css file? If it's reading some but not all of it it's more likely that the error is in the file itself...

I don't think that it is necessary in the last statement inside the brace, but it is good practice to do so.

Is probably because of the erroneous 'voice-family:' hack using the right brace and back-slash }\ and

 voice-family: "\"}\";

it will halt the CSS parser comment out that voice family hack and the CSS should work again, or fix the illegel syntax for the hack.

Hmm, now I'm curious.

It doesn't matter W3C validator doesn't seem to mind.

 using that isn't even really valid anymore in 1996 it was, but it's rare to find a browser that still needs that in your stylesheet.

Actually it's still valid in HTML 4.01 (Transitional and Strict) and XHTML 1.0 Transitional. It's not valid in XHTML 1.0 Strict or XHTML 1.1 (instead, you should be closing it in CDATA blocks).
