Just a note: I had trouble getting TweakUI to work when I downloaded it off the web, try getting it off your Windows CD, it should work then.

TweakUI works in Win95? I thought it was Win98 only. Either way, that is an excellent way to tweak your computer up a lot.

Upgrading to Win98 would be the first thing I'd do on a Win95 machine

As far as I know teakUI came with some verisons of 95 but they stopped shipping it with 98SE.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

I know for sure it comes with Win98 (original). I am pretty sure they stopped shipping it with Win98SE, though.

The version of Tweakui available with Windows 98 works perfectly with 98SE. All you have to do is load your older disc and right click on Tweakui.ini to install the control panel.

It was included in the Microsoft Powertoys Pack, which I always managed to stay up to date on thanks to a subscription to PCPRO.
