    Hey,

Ok I have lurked here for a while but i'm kind of in a fix so any help would be appreciated please. I'm NOT new to the web, and i'm not a new webmaster at all, I have a couple of years of past experience.

However, I have not really been "in the game" for the past few months, and I am trying to get backi n the know again. I have just launched a site called "Pureunderground.co.uk" which is only of interest to DJs and those interested in the "UK Garage music" scene. (I dont' know how much you will know about this hehe!)

Anyway, I am at around 10 visitors or so a day, and I'm finding even getting listed in the search engines quite difficult. I personally feel that the site has a lot to offer and is better than lots of the competition, but I obviously need visitors to start to get anywhere.

Any new ideas would be very helpful thanks

    yahoo.com
    dmoz.org

and see what sites come and then check them out and send an email to them

Put more keywords high up in your front page copy...even if the spiders crawl your site...there aren't enough keywords to get you to rank high...

Also put work a couple of key words into your page title (or whatever that is that shows up in the Blue Bar) at the top of the page... Right now yours reads, "Pure Underground.co.uk - The Future of UK Garage"

Really only 4 words... underground, future, garage, uk - not specific enough...anyone "searching" for your site probably would at least add the word "music"..I would think..to avoid getting returns for..."underground railroad" ,"garage openers/repairs", etc...

Also...use the goto.com keyword finder..see how many people search for your keywords...that will help you get a good handle on how much traffic you "could" possibly get.

Google and AskJeeves are also good for checking search terms..

Just went back to look at your site again...

Add some more "text" links in your front page copy...to invite the spiders to "dig deep/further" into your site...
