    annoying window

    Hey!

    I have a input page where the user edits. After going thru php, it goes to a javascript page where it says success. The javascript is

    Code:

    <SCRIPT language="JavaScript">
    <!--
    function GoBack() {
    history.back();
    history.go(0);
    }
    setTimeout( "GoBack()", 1000);
    //-->
    </SCRIPT>
    i tried many reloading in place of history.go(0);

    but because it's a form with data sent to it... there's always a dialog box that pops up when i try to reload it...

    The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click retry to send the information again, or click Cancel to return the page you were tyring to view.
    Is there anyway using javascript or other methods to bypass that?

    Thanks in advance!

    Justin

    Not with history.go(-1) or any of that.
    What happens is that the previous page receiced POST-variables from a form and, when you want to go back to that page, the values, inlcuding POST-variables are restored.
    The only way of avoiding that is to directly go to the page, i.e. use location.href="myPreviousPage.html".
