    Hello

I was just wondering whether any one here can tell me what kind of ad serving software the following code represents.

I have been seeing this kind of code every where while looking for a good ad serving software/script and I just could n't figure out till now.

    http://www.cnn.com/event.ng/Type=click&RunID=35787&ProfileID=34&AdID=25696&GroupID=15&FamilyID=328&TagValues=4.8.249.435.594.606.3654&Redirect=http:%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2FCAREER%2F

I hope the "event.ng" can give you some clues.

    Thank you,
    -Binoy

Could be a customized in-house ad serving software.

Try giving a search for "event.ng" in google.com, it's every where.

I don't think it's a customized/proprietary ad serving software. It must be something very popular, but nothing I am aware of

    Have a great time !

True, just curious, I did some searches for this and found this page to be useful. But so far haven't been able to identified the software I believe it's a (very) professional ad serving software, which of course cost an arm and a leg for smaller sites! But don't believe me!!

this kind of software costs a huge amount of money, probably a minimum of $1000. i wouldn't go with that unless you've a big company. there are some free ad rotator available but of couse they require the inclusion of ads(http://adcycle.com, http://adrotator.com). otherwise you could maybe checkout phpAds at http://phpwizard.net. it's free and no ads required. but you need to customize it... personnaly i decided to start hand-coding my whole banner software so that it fits my needs

Yes, it's a good idea to customize an script to suit your needs if you have time+skill

Binoy, you could check out adrunner from MyComputer.com, they offer a pretty prof. ad delivery service. Don't know much it cost though!

I believe it used to be adserving software from an independant company and now has been bought by Doubleclick ... not sure about the name though, will look that up!
